Born in Ohio and deeply connected to Missouri, Ashton moved to the Gulf Coast in May 2025.

After losing a job in 2024, Ashton found solace and inspiration in the coastal landscapes, living with family while launching Authentically Coastal.

As a proud NC A&T alum, Ashton combines technical expertise with a documentarian’s heart, capturing the essence of coastal life.

Ashton is driven by a mission to tell authentic stories through photography.
